Dr Rachel Liang is a highly experienced specialised skin cancer GP who loves her work and
helping her patients. She is passionate about skin cancer diagnosis and surgery and has
been working solely in this field for over a decade.
Dr Rachel Liang is a holistic and empathetic practitioner who is committed to achieving
excellent outcomes for her patients. She has many years of surgical experience and has
undertaken extensive surgical training from a leading plastic surgeon.
Dr Rachel Liang completed her medical degree at the University of Otago in 2006. She
obtained certification in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery with the University of
Queensland in 2013. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners
and is completing her Master of Medicine Degree in Skin Cancer with the University of
Queensland.
Outside of work, Dr Rachel Liang delights in reading, exercising and whipping up culinary
delights for her family. Her favourite days are ones spent having fun with her husband and
two darling boys.

Dr Chi So specialises in skin cancer diagnosis and management. He believes in an empathetic and caring approach to his consultations and procedures and is able to perform full body skin checks, mole and spot checks, dermoscopy, skin cancer surveillance, skin cancer excisions, biopsies, and minor procedures.
He completed the requirements for a Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2017. He went on to complete a Master in Medicine (Skin Cancer) and a Master of Public Health.
He has published research papers in international journals exploring the field of skin cancer management in Australian primary care.
He says he enjoys developing trusting relationships with his clients over many years as he provides care.

Dr Karen Jenkins is a skin cancer specialist GP with a Masters Degree in Skin Cancer Medicine and extensive experience in the diagnosis, surgical and non-surgical management of skin cancers.
Dr Jenkins has long experience in managing patients at high risk of skin cancer including melanoma. She has worked as a skin cancer specialist in Ballina and Canberra for over 15 years.
She has advanced skills in the surgical management of more complicated skin cancers. We are very fortunate to have such a treasure as Dr Jenkins at Denman!

Dr Kathleen O’Brien grew up in Canberra and is a graduate of the ANU Medical School.
She is very friendly and loves children, and holds a Diploma in Child Health (Sydney Children’s Hospital Network/University of Sydney). She has interests in paediatrics, women’s health, and preventive health. She chose General Practice because she wanted the opportunity of establishing long lasting relationships with patients to provide excellent continuity of care.
Dr O’Brien says she enjoys working at YourGP because of the commitment to quality care and the supportive team environment from the other doctors, to the nursing and administrative staff.
Outside of work she likes bushwalks, travelling, reading, music, and her burgeoning vegetable garden.

Originally from New Zealand, he trained as a doctor here in Canberra, graduating in 2013 and has also completed a Diploma in Child Health. He has a passion for medical education and enjoys teaching medical students and registrars.

Anna completed Medicine at the University of Tasmania. Since then she has practiced predominately in Canberra but also in rural, remote and overseas places. She has had further training and experience in public health, infectious diseases and travel medicine, including obtaining a Masters of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and Fellowship with the Australasian College of Tropical Medicine. Anna has worked for the Commonwealth Government in relation to immunisation, outbreaks, disaster planning and veteran’s health and was a member of the ACT Health COVID Response Team. She has interests in lifestyle medicine, infectious diseases and travel health.
Outside of work Anna enjoys hikes and rides with family and friends, reading, growing vegetables and creating cakes when there is a special event.

She has an interest in Post natal checks, Childhood Development checks, Antenatal breast-feeding advice and lactation medicine.
Since having her children and facing some of the challenges with feeding, Tracy has developed a special interest in the area of lactation medicine and is currently undertaking further studies.
